We have an immediate opening at one of our clients, manufacturing laundry pods and detergent who is currently seeking a Filler/ Operator for their Hydroforma room in Concord, ON. area

Primary Responsibilities:
- Operates machine in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs quality checks as specified.
- Starts and stops equipment to identify basic mechanical issues. Makes adjustments to machines, as required.
- Ensures proper film and lot code information is logged accurately.
- Ensures GMP procedures are followed.
- Ensures the department is run to maximize quality and productivity.
- Receive and review orders in a timely manner.
- Focuses on customer expectations, prevent problems, and strives for continuous improvement in quality and productivity.
- Maintains good housekeeping and safety procedures.
- Understands and follows all S.O.P.’s.
- Other tasks and duties as assigned by the Production Supervisor.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with filling operation/HMI controls required.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills required.
- Advanced aptitude to solve mechanical problems, a must.
- Must be mechanically inclined, to perform minor machine corrections.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
- Strong organizational and team-building skills with a progressive “can do” attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Works well with others.
Safety Responsibilities:
- Complies with all safety company policies as well as provincial and local regulations, with the support and guidance of Corporate SHEQ authorities.
- Safety and MSDS training.
- No loose jewelry, metal (i.e. knives), glass at machines.
- No loose clothing.
- Ensures all equipment is in an acceptably maintained condition.
- Proper PPE to be worn at all times.
- Safety procedures to be followed at all times.
- Work area must be kept clean at all times.
